Registration is open for the MS EPSCoR sponsored 2022 fs Transient Absorption Spectroscopy (TAS) Workshopin Oxford, MS July 13-14th!
The advent of ultrashort (fs time scale) tunable laser systems in the early 1990s opened up a new and exciting area of research whereby we are now able to probe fundamental energy and electron transfer processes. In this two-day workshop, participants will cover the fundamentals of ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy (TAS), including fs-TAS data acquisition and analysis and receive hands-on training using state-of-the-art fs spectrometers.
The workshop is free and open to undergraduate and graduate students, post docs, and faculty.
Graduate students from EPSCoR jurisdictions are eligible to apply for travel assistance to participate.
